I’ve often joked around saying that if pickup trucks keep growing at this rate we’ll need a commercial vehicle license by 2030 to road test them. Looking around a parking lot it’s easy to forget that trucks used to be just that, trucks. A bench seat, single cab, and a suspension ready for hauling and towing was all you got with a basic pickup. Now, trucks are designed with a Swiss army knife approach to daily duty. They have more doors, to carry car seats and do school drop offs. They have nicer interiors to carter to the urban cowboys.…
