The Geneva Motor Show is currently underway, and there are a lot of new and interesting cars making their debut there. One such vehicle is the next in the line of succession for the 991.2 line of Porsche 911s. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the 2018 911 GT3.
It’s powered by a 4.0L flat-six that revs to 9,000 RPM and is completely, 100% naturally-aspirated. Power is sent to the rear wheels by either a PDK automatic or, yes it’s back, a 6-speed manual transmission! It’s the same transmission in the 911R.
With 500 horsepower and track-tuned everything, the new GT3 should be an absolute blast to drive. In the meantime, check out these photos from Porsche!
