2018 Subaru Legacy is the car you forgot to like

Is there a better priced, better-equipped all-wheel drive car on the market? No. The Subaru Legacy is a car that exudes confidence when in difficult driving conditions while giving drivers and passengers enough of what they need to justify a test drive.

The Legacy got a refresh for 2018 including revised front and rear styling, a more posh interior, a quieter and smoother ride, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, available steering responsive LED headlights, and new multimedia capabilities.

Buyers have four Legacy grades to choose from: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Sport, 2.5i Limited, and 3.6R Limited. It has a starting MSRP of $22,195 and the top of the line model would top out just a shade over $38,000 with every option and accessory box checked. There’s a lot of room between those numbers and consumers can get a lot of bang for their buck.

The best value may be the 2.5i Sport model, which includes a number of technological upgrades over the 2.5i Premium model without a hefty price increase (just $2,100). Like all the other models in the Legacy lineup, it comes with asymmetrical all-wheel drive.
