2019 Bullitt Ford Mustang makes 480 horsepower

Back at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Ford showed off the new 2019 Mustang Bullitt. Built atop the Mustang GT platform, the Bullitt has special features unique to the car to pay tribute to the original movie car, and set it apart as a high-end performance model.

Thanks to a healthier engine setup, Ford said that the Bullitt would make at least 475 horsepower. Now that the order banks are officially open, we know how much power that is. For those fortunate enough to get ahold of the 2019 Bullitt, the car will be making 480 horsepower from the factory. That’s 20 more than a standard Mustang GT.

If you’re interested in picking up a Bullitt, you can head to your dealership today and place an order. Final pricing hasn’t been announced, but expect the car to be in high demand.
