New midsize Ram pickup confirmed in FCA’s latest plans

No word yet if the new small truck will be called Dakota

On Friday, FCA showed off their plans for the next 5 years to investors at an event in Italy. Called “Capital Markets Day,” the company talked about a lot of things that are coming. One of those vehicles is a new midsize pickup truck from Ram.

More details than that are unknown. We just know it’ll be available for sale by the year 2022. Yes, that’s a long way away, and a lot of things can change between now and then, but with the Ranger coming back it only makes sense for Ram to stay in the midsize truck game.

But will it be called Dakota?

What do you think?
