“This Jeep has gotten me through my good times , and my bad times, I’ve rested my head a couple nights in it. Its seen me cry, and seen me laugh.” I think this is a feeling many automotive enthusiasts can empathize with. Many of us have been there, one way or another, and feel a family-like bond with our vehicles.
For owner, Randy Cadett, it started out as a daily driver, with no intention to modify. That’s what they all say, right? He found the “need” as he says, when he took his WK off road and broke some parts. From there, he knew he had to go bigger and badder.
After four years, “Pearl the Jeep” is still Randy’s pride and joy. A continuous reminder of why he built her, and how much enjoyment he gets each and every time they head out to the trails.
Future mods he would like to have done include upgraded gears, lockers, a full Superlift kit, new driveshafts, and a custom tune. Lastly, if he can find a way, Randy would like to do a five or six speed manual transmission swap.
