Where to start… this “raw, crude, dirty, stinky, diesel” is a 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit (MK1.) Owner, John Speziale, says it is not for the faint of heart, as he gets many dirty looks for it.

The VW is pieced together with it’s MK1 body, MK2 eco-diesel engine, and MK3 interior. Additionally, a beer tap shifter, and nardi classic wheel are included. Oh, and no floors, just bare metal.

John decided to purchase this car as he has always had a love for 4 door MK1 rabbits. Though he hates that it has been one problem after another, he loves that it is out of place on the road. This bare to the bone, rat rod, has vise grips as light controls and wrenches as window cranks, it leaks, there is no heat or A/C, and yet, goes everywhere.
