Photos of the Day: How Low Can You Go?

Edwin Nunez used to work at his uncle’s shop restoring classic Mercedes, which inspired him to pick up one and do the same. Now, most others like to keep them mint and as original as possible. Edwin wanted to go a different direction. He found just the right Benz and picked it up for $1000. Though it was pretty neglected, the body was straight, and he felt he could work with it.

After 1.5 years of part hunting, everything began to come together. With the Benz running properly and looking good, he began to modify.

Currently this Mercedes has an Accuair air suspension, Radi8 wheels, avery satin pearl nero vinyl wrap, Euro bumpers , Euro headlights, W140 lorinser exhaust, W140 sunroof conversion (W140 is a 4 door future generation Mercedes.)

This build isn’t quite finished yet, though. The owner has future plans, but they’re secret. Follow his build and you shall see.
