On sale tomorrow: 2017 Honda Civic Si coupe and sedan

2017 Civic Si

Do you have $23,900 burning a hole in your pocket and you want to spend it on the new Honda Civic Si? Starting tomorrow you can do that.

Officially launching at dealerships on Saturday, May 13th, the Civic S will be available for purchase. The $23,900 starting price applies to both the coupe and the sedan version, and both of the cars some standard with Apple’s Car Play and Google’s Android Auto support as standard.

Also, as standard, you get a turbocharged 1.5L engine making 205 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Horsepower and torque was never Honda’s selling point, so we’ll reserve judgement on how it all works when we get a chance to drive one. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.

The only options for either model is whether you want summer tires are all seasons. The Si trim mimics the EX-T trim on other Civic models (which means no LED headlights, if you wanted them).

If you’re been waiting to drive one, or purchase one for yourself, head to your local dealership tomorrow. Well, perhaps call first.
