Tesla hits 5,000 Model 3 unit production just in time

Musk tweets his thanks to his team on Twitter

Model 3 – Red Overhead

It seems that they’ve finally done it. Last week Tesla reportedly produced 5,000 Model 3 sedans at their Fremont, California facility. Elon Musk was quick to tweet out his thanks.

Additionally, a post on Reddit has been documenting the poster people signed to celebrate this milestone.

Official word from Tesla is likely to come this week some time, but it appears that the enthusiasm couldn’t be held back by the company’s CEO or people who work the assembly line.
