Jeep Trackhawk to Debut… This Year…

Who isn’t excited for a 6.2L HEMI supercharged V8 in a Jeep Grand Cherokee? But the question ultimately is when we’ll see it? We know one is coming, and while we’ve speculated a lot on the vehicle, the one thing we didn’t know is when the covers will come off of it officially. Today, we have a better idea… sorta.

Earlier this morning, our friend Patrick Rall writing for Torque News said the Jeep will debut during the 2017 Woodward Dream Cruise. That seems to make sense, as Dodge has had high-horsepower announcements the week of Dream Cruise in the past.

Later in the morning though, another friend, Joel Feder at Motor Authority, reported his has a source saying that it’ll come to the New York Auto Show alongside the debut of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.

So who’s right? Until we get official word ourselves from FCA or see the car in the flesh, we’re not sure. But we do know it’s coming, and it might be as early as April. Get excited!
